The first time i saw Possession i said āthis is my favorite movieā approximately four times throughout. the insanely theatrical performances, the color and setting⦠itās untouchable to me. itās not a For Everyone movie as it is certainly unsettling and strange Horror but its power lies in that uniqueness and itās just straight up beautiful love you xoxo
I donāt know if āscaryā quite describes this one, but it definitely stuck with me for days after I watched it. I still think about it to this day. āDeeply upsettingā more fits the bill. Itās just two hours of the most destructive and toxic relationship ever portrayed on film with some horror elements for flare. Makes you want to curl up into a ball and never experience romantic feelings for another person ever again This recommendation comes with a big asterisk. This is whatever the opposite of life-affirming is, so if you like feeling like shit definitely check it out.
Honestly bro I had no idea wtf was going on in ts but the wardrobe was A1 and scene locations were mad cool. It also is the same dude who did Possession, ik a lot of you mfs on this app like that one. Starring Romy Schneider of āLa Piscineā fame, also features a sleazed out performance by Klaus Kinski, itās ab a photographer who likes some actress but her sherm bf is unhinged and manipulating her idk I got tired of reading subtitles. Overall itās a great movie to watch if you want to take a picture of ur screen to throw on ur IG story to make ppl think ur mad esoteric and knowledgeable ab late 20th century European cinema.
Iām getting a weird little freak in a week!! Still trying to think of a new name for him as his given name is simply not right BUT maybe itāll spill out of me once we meet.
Also I drank a strawberries and cream dr. pepper yesterday and that was incredible š
My dad loved horror movies - not many actually Scared him. After seeing this in theaters he told me he had to turn on all the lights when he got home.
I just saw it for the first time and while I loved it I wouldnāt say this is a Scary Movie. Itās more so a story about ghosts that almost feels like a gothic fairytale.
Nicole Kidman is insanely good in it. The way she can lose her grip on reality while still maintaining her humanity is heartbreaking.
SO, highly recommend watching especially on a foggy/stormy night. And make sure to lock that door behind you thx love u so much xoxo4evr
Thereās a real sense of catharsis in this song. Peter has said itās about letting go and you can feel that. It is so confident but still feels personal and itās just a damn tune. Also itās in 7/4 if you care about that kind of thing
