The first time i saw Possession i said ā€œthis is my favorite movieā€ approximately four times throughout. the insanely theatrical performances, the color and setting… it’s untouchable to me. it’s not a For Everyone movie as it is certainly unsettling and strange Horror but its power lies in that uniqueness and it’s just straight up beautiful love you xoxo

Arresting. Emotional. Powerfully acted. Truly weird.

Honestly bro I had no idea wtf was going on in ts but the wardrobe was A1 and scene locations were mad cool. It also is the same dude who did Possession, ik a lot of you mfs on this app like that one. Starring Romy Schneider of ā€œLa Piscineā€ fame, also features a sleazed out performance by Klaus Kinski, it’s ab a photographer who likes some actress but her sherm bf is unhinged and manipulating her idk I got tired of reading subtitles. Overall itā€˜s a great movie to watch if you want to take a picture of ur screen to throw on ur IG story to make ppl think ur mad esoteric and knowledgeable ab late 20th century European cinema.

it’s much more grounded in reality than naked lunch (if you can call any cronenberg movie grounded) but it still has the sleazy scuzzy energy of naked lunch. also has awesome practical effects. if fucking The Creature was your favorite part then id also recommend possession but it’s further away from naked lunch tone and theme wise

I’m getting a weird little freak in a week!! Still trying to think of a new name for him as his given name is simply not right BUT maybe it’ll spill out of me once we meet. Also I drank a strawberries and cream dr. pepper yesterday and that was incredible šŸ’—

There’s a real sense of catharsis in this song. Peter has said it’s about letting go and you can feel that. It is so confident but still feels personal and it’s just a damn tune. Also it’s in 7/4 if you care about that kind of thing

My dad loved horror movies - not many actually Scared him. After seeing this in theaters he told me he had to turn on all the lights when he got home. I just saw it for the first time and while I loved it I wouldn’t say this is a Scary Movie. It’s more so a story about ghosts that almost feels like a gothic fairytale. Nicole Kidman is insanely good in it. The way she can lose her grip on reality while still maintaining her humanity is heartbreaking. SO, highly recommend watching especially on a foggy/stormy night. And make sure to lock that door behind you thx love u so much xoxo4evr
