Every time Spotify‘s algorithm hits a wall in terms of giving me new music, I use this site to look for new releases but I specifically look at artists who‘s music I haven’t heard before or if I’m feeling super experimental I’ll only look Into genres I've never heard of or barely know. I highly recommend this, it’s a fun way to discover new artists and music in general🤩 Music roamer is also a goated way of finding artists similar to your faves https://www.musicroamer.com (use the desktop version)

i’m assuming based on the wording, you’re looking for music recommendations, and not an actual way to listen/stream the music; - inner circle recommenders: i have like 2-3 friends who somewhat consistently send me new music and tend to have a very high hit rate for my tastes. ymmv based on how good your friends’ tastes are - pi.fyi: the lovely users of this website tend to have a lot of really good music recommendations; i’ll mention mouse, royallmonarch, and riotgrrrl by name, but there are a lot of cuties with good taste on here and if you browse the EVERYTHING feed you’ll see some good stuff - pitchfork: apparently esquire or some other cultureless cesspit is going to absorb p4k entirely, but until then, best new music still has some very solid reviews and picks coming through it. maybe hews a little closer to the type of shit you would see in an algorithmic recommendation, just by nature of being a little mainstream
