my latest 5 star read — an ode to us women who are always fighting, and how we do so in many different ways
also looooved how its through the pov of the 9 year old because it lets us step into her shoes without as much judgement towards those who are taking care of her the best they can
this book pulled me out of a book slump!! the MC is weird, layered, and relatable. it was somehow a funny read while also covering dark/sad/serious topics and exploring so many emotions and relationship dynamics. cannot recommend enough.
