i hope you all know that he is more than just the notebook and la la land by now .. watch blue valentine or the nice guys or lars and the real girl or half nelson or somethin. he has range and i love him for it
i spent the beginning of this week watching stand by me, running on empty and my own private idaho and river truly was one of the most special humans to ever exist.
i just really think everyone should watch his body of work and talk about him more.
if you wanted to understand my brain/personality/sense of humor i would say watch his movies. i find it interesting to find social commentary and meaning in his movies, but itβs also fun to just see them as absurd and somewhat disturbing.
