if you wanted to understand my brain/personality/sense of humor i would say watch his movies. i find it interesting to find social commentary and meaning in his movies, but it’s also fun to just see them as absurd and somewhat disturbing.
I love what I’m seeing from Tyler. His movies are strange and special, his latest, Harper’s Comet has no dialogue and is so beautiful, funny, and sad. Just dive in, you’ll thank me later.
everything he’s done will be hilarious and touching if you’re eccentric&wild at heart. you have to have a little filth&rot inside you to truly enjoy his films but if you’re a freak, it’ll be a door to a new world of absurdity.
his interviews are great too. he’s so entertaining & inspiring for young filmmakers trying to make it with no resources. also a true badass
