Judee Sillâs self titled album has been on repeat lately for me. I love her religious imagery and mix of musical styles/genres. My favorite track is âThe Lamb Ran Away with the Crownâ but every song is So Good.
Got turned onto her in a BCNR "What's in my bag" video and find her style, voice and the way that her vocals are recorded really hold up right now with the folk/country moment happening in the music culture.
januaryâs one of my fav months; beyond general feelings of renewal, new releases slow down for a bit and it gives me the opportunity to comb my library for artists & albums iâve neglected while trying to keep up with the zeitgeist đľâđŤ some rapid fire picks, new and old â
though only slightly! joanne robertson & dean blunt: backstage raver alisonâs halo: eyedazzler sinĂŠad oâ connor: universal mother yatta: palm wine parannoul: sky hundred iâve also been addicted to jane removerâs newest single; with each new release i feel like we discover a new facet to her. the new ethel cain record was really good, too :)

For whatever reason I keep posting and then deleting my recs immediately. Iâve gotten shy on here. I used to be so bold. I donât know what happened !!!
Iâm currently in the back seat of my friendâs car listening to their future plans. Itâs lowkey terrifying me. HoweverâŚ.take this as your sign that you donât have to know what you want. Youâre not alone!!!
