It’s like tupperware with a timed lock. I know it’s scary, but the relief you will feel will be incredible. You deserve to reset your nervous system. You deserve to not feel depleted by ads and notifications. You deserve some freedom!

I have this thing called a Kitchen Safe. Basically you can lock anything inside it for a set amount of time. So I’ll lock my phone in there for a few hours and I notice a big productivity boost. I think it’s more effective than just putting your phone in another room because in your mind you know that it’s literally impossible to access your phone until the timer is up (unless you break the Kitchen Safe with a hammer). It’s like making and enforcing a contract with yourself to make a certain block of time phone-free.

this app has singlehandedly helped me get off my phone bc it forces you to take a deep breath before you go on whatever app you wanna restrict and then asks if you really wanna do that… (I don’t)
