Not necessarily adding extra movement but being intentional and present whenever Iβm using my body. Walking up a hill? Iβll consciously align my heels under my shoulders. Lifting a case of wine? Hit that squat deep and lift solely with my legs. Sitting on couch brainrotting? Adjust that spine and reach the top of the head to the ceiling. Resting my hand on my husbands soft curls? Turn that into a scalp massage.
If youβre struggling with being active, focus on getting the most out of what you do every day before adding in extra movement. Master your daily rhythm and use every opportunity you can to connect your mind to your muscles, you will automatically be less anxious, more present, and far less likely to hurt yourself.
