sometimes people have hidden troubles and they can come off rude, and sometimes theyāre just a snot. either way the cliche ākill them with kindnessā applies here and even if they donāt brighten up, it feels good to know you were the nice person in the interaction.

I really donāt like when people treat other people badly. Itās unnecessary. the smile on their face could be covering a lifetime of pain, or it could be genuine happiness but how would we know? and either way, the way we treat someone could decide what their next day is like ā could be a good or bad day based on a small interaction with little old me. but Iāll never consciously be unkind or hurt someone. we do owe each other something as human beings ā kindness. being kind isnāt difficult. be kind. be thoughtful. be warm. be loving. be graceful. be patient.

After years of loving the Talking Heads I saw that David was touring again for a new solo album. I had admittedly heard very little of his solo stuff but decided to go. If nothing else it was a chance to see a living legend. This was the American Utopia tour (before it had been on Broadway or HBO). It was the most incredible display of joy, dancing, and choreograph set to the sounds of Talking Heads, Davidās solo material and beyond (A very powerful Janelle Monae cover).

Arguably her best album. PJ is at her rawest and most frantic here. The album sounds insane in the best way like a grunge buzzsaw. R.I.P Steve Albini
