Completely obsessed with the book series (the original and girl detective series), the Emma Roberts’ movie, the Nancy Drew: Detective show from the 1930s, and the computer games.
I had a kit with a notebook, pen, magnifying glass. Truly thought I would be a private eye.

My parents and their friends bought me every educational PC game they could find and there were so many I loved but the Nancy Drew series is closest to my heart… for girls who aren’t afraid of a mouse 🥹 i loved going through everybody’s stuff and getting into their business and exploring these beautiful thoughtfully designed environments. I fell off with the newer ones but I played pretty much all of them.
Iconic theme music and soundtrack… so cozy and atmospheric and fun but also scary sometimes! The first one I ever played was Message in a Haunted Mansion when I was super little and listening to the theme music as I explored the haunted house scared me so much I cried 😭

these point and click computer mystery/puzzle games were very formative for me and still go so hard but i have not been able to play in years bc they have not updated their software for like any new OS :,^( if anyone knows of a good emulator or has an old pc laptop they don’t need please lmk

It’s nice to be the one in the friend group who always has a game planned. I keep one deck in my purse and one on my car. Then have some quick games that are easy to teach. I suggest:
