In college I was a musical hater, in a blind blanketed statement these movies were not for me. Singin in the Rain then changed my life. Many of my favorite movies I watch initially to a mixed feeling or review, but am pulled back to for some strange reason, with this reason normally being it is destined to be one of my favorite movies!
Filled with joy around every corner, Singinā in the Rain is a movie of its time. Colorful and happy as ever, Gene Kelly proceeds to tap dance for half the run time and itās perfect. Ugh itās truly timeless!!!
Side note: I think that tap dance needs to be brought back. One of the most sexy masculine things ever used to be Gene Kelly tap dancing. Why canāt we bring this back!!! Normalize tap dancing please it looks so cool and fun.
