🕯️
In Colombia we celebrate el Día de las Velitas or Day of the Little Candles (translated literally). This is a day celebrated on December 7th to acknowledge the immaculate conception of Virgin Mary. People around Colombia gather to light up candles for her. The candles have another purpose though, and that is the one of making wishes. Per every candle, you make a wish of whatever you want. You get as many wishes as you have candles. See my wishes attached below. Lots of people in Colombia use this day to manifest their goals for next year.A very beautiful concept. May all your wishes come true 💛💙❤️.

Adding to mariamaria's rec and also celebrating Día de las Velitas but in Canada. The intense snowfall & heavy breeze making my house shake like the three little pigs' rn has made it impossible to put any candles outside, so a mini set up will suffice. Sending good energies to everyone here on PI and I hope all of your own wishes for the coming new year come true 💛✨🇨🇴

colleagues forgot to buy candles for my birthday cake (dulce de leche if you care) so they made me blow out a vanilla scented candle they found in the bathroom. Elevated the experience in my opinion.
