i've been listening to this album on repeat for a full year straight. it's fun to stomp down the street with the power of goth metal blasting in your ears. afraid of metal/thrasher music? don't worry, their production sounds like you're listening to U2 doing metal. Peter Steele sings in a funny vampire voice and he looks like a high gothic vampire version of Fabio, so Type O Negative is the perfect band to relive your twisted little teenage nosferatu fantasies with.

This is basically a Halloween album -
the songs are haunted, aching, messy, and sometimes silly. It features a childrenâs choir, crooning, and whispers of a dying love, a beating heart, bones beneath your feet.
I listen every fall and, beyond that, this album is a piece of my musical identity. I didnât know you could break glass and stomp and let songs fall apart and have that all work on an album because when I first heard this I had mostly been listening to ska and blink 182.

nothing really gets the whole room going at karaoke than a song that everyone deeply, unconsciously loves, but often forgets about. when you sing "COOL" you get to use your sexy voice, so everyone in the room gets completely rock hard. this is a song in everyone's range, so you're welcome, you'll sound really good at singing. AND it's short, so you won't have to worry about shredding your throat too much. have fun impressing everyone in the room with how COOLÂ you are!!!
