How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2005) although I do love the original 1966 animated version as well. The Year Without A Santa Claus. My siblings were obsessed with this movie as children. We still quote it frequently. And of course, Elf. I relate to him as a character. I too eat a lot of sugar.

I watched this while eating Chinese food with my aunt like a decade ago after babysitting my cousin. An absolute blast, takes itself exactly and only as seriously as it needs to. Honorable mentions: Black Christmas (original only!!); and while not explicitly Christmas movies, I strongly associate Legends of The Guardians: Owls of Ga'Hool (Zak Snyder owl movie), Happy Feet (??) and Rush Hour 2 (?!?) with the day

Humans have always danced. It is part of who we are, yet we have been conditioned to be self conscious, to think that we do not move our bodies good enough. Dancing is beyond judgement. Dancing is not a skill, it is our soul moving through our bodies, expressed in movement. Dancing is healing. Dancing is bodily autonomy. Dancing is FUN! Any feeling you are feeling can be moved through with dance yet even alone, you fear looking foolish. Kill the judge in your mind, shut the fuck up, and MOVE 🌊
