ive been using it for over a year now and I love it! you just check in everywhere you go and you can add a photo or caption to your checkin. It creates a timeline of everywhere you’ve been and you can see a map of every place you’ve been to as well. It’s really old and not that well maintained, but it’s one of my favorite things on my phone. And it’s not addictive because there’s nothing to really look at!
It’s also useful when people ask for recs for places to go in a city or region since you can just open a map of that location and see where you’ve been and what you’ve liked. It’s more fun if you have other people who use it regularly, but also nice if you just use it on your own!

essentially you follow curators and friends who log their favourite bars, restaurants, shops, hotels, galleries, anything, all over the world. i love city breaks and i’m so much more excited to go somewhere when i’ve saved all kinds of stuff on the map. lots of my all time favourite places i would never have found if not for this.

i haven’t used many couples apps, but i love how interactive this one is. everyday, you either answer a question or take a quiz with your partner and as scary as it can be being honest with some really personal questions, it’s fun learning about one another. it also keeps a streak as an incentive to do it daily, which i appreciate with my goldfish memory

if you buy some superglue and a pack of (strong) magnets you can make almost anything of a certain size into a magnet for your fridge! I don’t really like pins because idk what to do with them and have discovered just gluing a magnet to the back of them and putting them on my fridge! I had this epiphany while making clay magnets—an idea my friend had for a party at her house.

I’ve compiled a couple:
- qpdf for renumbering pages (like when the first 10 pages are in the preface and are numbered i, ii, iii, etc.). You have to know how to use a terminal for this one.
- Briss for splitting facing pages (like in a scanned book)
