started as a passion project with work and ended up having an incredible time. we filmed in a very desert type environment and was all about sustainability. i learnt so much. it isn’t the most perfect thing in the world but the lessons ive taken from it are truly priceless
This year I filmed my first short documentary! I’m already in pre-production on another larger one! I’ve never felt so fulfilled in my life! Put yourself out there. Even though it feels unbearably cringe and humiliating, there’s nothing better you can do for your soul than being fully yourself
Ever since starting college I've made it a point to try on different things, different people...., different styles, and different hobbies! Today I got the IMMENSE privilege of helping out a friend with a short film! It was incredibly fun and made me realize how important it is to have different likes, different things that make our world keep spinning. I'm glad to be able to add film-making (ish) to this little world of mine!
might be a little simple but always hits. 2/3x leeks
5/6 medium potatoes (chopped into bite size pieces)
1x onion
1x garlic
500ml stock of your choice
30ml sour cream/creme fraiche 1. chop your onion, garlic, potatoes and leeks and put into a pan. let that gently fry for 5-6 mins.
2. season with chilli flakes, pepper and a little salt.
3. pour in your stock and turn up heat to boil.
4. leave to simmer for 20 mins.
5. take off the heat, stir in your sour cream or crème fraiche, and season to ur taste. a song for this i’m feeling something a little joni mitchell vibe as this is soooo warm & cosy. maybe joni mitchell - help me
winter has some short days but they feel so long, i’m so tired. so i’ve recently realised that i don’t need to rush, i can just walk. i don’t need to stay indoors all day because i know it’s going to get dark quickly, i still have a day to go outside.
