Georges Rochegrosse (1894). The details and play of light in this painting draw me in like no other. Absolutely mesmerizing!!! This musée d’Orsay link has some good close-ups

The brobecks + more

The brobecks have only one album on Spotify, Violent Things, and it’s just the best album ever the singer and songwriter of that album moved on to be the bassist for panic! At the disco and now has a band called I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME, which is also incredible, but nothing beats the brobecks. another top tier album is Let live and Let ghosts by Jukebox the Ghost, and it’s just so so so good.
