I started a practice this year of pulling a tarot card every morning, using prompts I write for myself each month, considering what’s on my schedule, what phase the moon will be in, and so on. (A gift to future self) Then I’ll meditate on how I can implement the wisdom of that card into my day. It’s a good way to ground before stepping out into interacting with other humans.

I’m about a month in and really enjoying this practice. I don’t know a ton about tarot so sort of learning as I go but typically I pull a card, take in the imagery and see what stands out the me, THEN look in a guidebook and see what resonates with me there, and try to check in a couple other times in the week just to see if anything else came out. At the end of the month, I look back on anything I wrote about this in my journal and note any patterns that came up.

i love drawing daily cards from either from my tarot or oracle card decks for journal prompts. it gives me something to take with me into my day and something to write/reflect on when I’m journaling. i find the messages provide helpful insights and perspectives on my current life :) ✨🌙

During the pandemic home times I got really into putting an ambient room on in the background while I was reading. I love a library room with sounds of dust crackles and book pages turning. This creator Miracle Forest makes a lot of great ones with their own little story like “Hiding in the bathroom at a weird gathering,” or “Abandoned gas station at the end of the world.”

This is a guitar pedal that I use on my voice. I put it last in the chain for a little extra magic for certain parts of the song, or turn the length down if I’m keeping it on for a whole song. It’s a tiny cave on my pedal board.

I don’t know much about Aindulmedir / Pär Boström, but I know they’re from Sweden, and that I want to collaborate with them. I love the album Star Lore. “The Hermit’s Sleep” is my anthem. Dungeon synth calls to me.
