Or door knocking if you’re up for it! My job is based around helping neighbors organize and do community projects and one of the biggest helps is just making some flyers to gauge interest and get people together for a meeting! (And it’s fun to create something cute to pass around)
But be sure to include a google survey, or a phone number/email to contact so you can organize everyone to get together!

be it feeding people, youth outreach, helping people move, the library, community gardens…the possibilities are endless and of course vary. i volunteer for the art program offered by a shelter near me so it’s possible to balance any interests of yours with doing good! take the time to research opportunities that speak to you.
some other helpful ideas: pick a grassroots organization you really resonate with and donate/promote as regularly as you can...read tricky things and have those tricky conversations...learn a domestic or community building skill such as sewing...
best of luck and don’t get too wrapped up in the “size” of the impact of your actions, because a little help is better than none :)

I’ve recently in the last year realized the joy of eating a simple yet hearty breakfast. I’ll cut up whatever fruit I’ve got on deck, make a piece of toast with butter, a soft boiled egg with the celtic sea salt, and bacon if i‘ve got time and the Trader Joe’s hashbrowns!
