Rec'd on 🍿 whats a movie you think everyone should see?

This movie, along with any other early Wes Anderson, is so special to me. He is able to capture these raw and truly human emotions, while also making them feel polished and stylized. Rushmore to me is one of his best, but any pre-Moonrise Kingdom is a must watch.

Before Sunrise (1995)

I think falling in love is one of the most beautiful things a human can experience. This movie makes me feel comforted, and reminds me of the art of a shared conversation between two people who admire each other upon first meeting. It's a slow-paced film that an old-school hopeless romantic, like myself, can resonate with. It feels like poetry to watch.

Before Sunrise: A Masterpiece

I love this movie. I just watched it for the 5th time and I could rewatch it again tomorrow. It's beautiful, it's real, it's fantastical. If you haven't watched it and want to listen to people talk about nothing and everything, falling for each other over one night then do it! Watch it! Thats all.

Perfect Days (Dir. wim wenders, 2023)

My favorite director of all time. It took me way too long to see this, his most recent work, but he has not lost an ounce of filmmaking ability. A must watch for people who love movies with low stakes and high emotion
