This is one of the most often-overlooked Disney films — it is imprinted on my childhood too. Everything in this film screams darkness and terror, from the colours to the score, sustained until the final scenes. I believe it is based on a Welsh tale and love having an array of accents ✨

Such a strange movie. usually i like movies with no real plot but i was scared the whole time. Morvern girl what is wrong with u. But laawwwdd i know why my film studies prof chose it. a movie with barely any structure and insane visuals and it Still has substance— something directors now have no idea how to do successfully… (cough cough saltburn cough cough longlegs) so haunting visually and emotionally i’ve been thinking about it all week
