we need to encourage using press ons more often, getting nails done is way too expensive and i like the option of being able to take my nails off easily if i get overstimulated or hate them

Recently i decided to try press-ons as a way to protect my nails from myself and manage the impulse to pick (#bfrbgang), but didnt know i would be having sooo much fun getting in touch with a sense of glamour and experimenting with femininity in a way i hadn’t before :)

it’s fun! it’s an artsy, creative outlet; you get to create your own designs and stare at them once you wear them. feels so satisfying 🫢🏼 now that i have more nail supplies, i feel like i’m able to make nail designs that i actually want to wear without booking an appt or trying to buy press ons in store/online. it’s a hobby that i can see myself continuing.

Everyone randomly loves to compliment my press on nails. stops me from biting my nails and i dont have to deal with passive aggressive nail techs scolding me. When they fall off (or i peel them) i just throw on some new ones, nbd. im not pretending they look as good as acrylics but for $8 i do not care

am currently trying and will try to record more of life in 2025. whether it be through collecting receipts, jotting down an entry in a journal, recording a voice memo, or taking a simple video. i love looking at old video/photos and jounal entries to see what i did on a specific day. we always forget about the mundane
