Really compelling story about two transgender characters in different stages of their transition (pre and post) and their lives, flaws, and interactions. I still find it very relevant and Maria’s character voice is like nothing I’ve read before. I absolutely loved it. The ending may read as a bit unsatisfying to some, but I think the book overall was a great read.

It’s been three days since I’ve finished that book and it’s on my mind all the time. when I brush my teeth I think about Nettie and her time in africa , I make myself a drink and I think about Sofia and her brave struggles , it really stuck with me . It’s bleak but it’s because a woman’s life can be bleak , it’s also happy and theological and compassionate. Anyways check the trigger warnings but if you want to dive into a beautiful story and a sapphic one at that check it out ! 😜♥️

One of my fave sapphic novels I’ve read as of late! The writing is crisp and clear, and I felt immersed in this morally gray world.

Guys pls listen to student and community run radio it’s so fun and more low key compared to the big corps. AND a lot of the people making it run are volunteers! Do some research on your local station and tune in!!!

I love to look at all the dvds at any little second hand store i can find. i almost always find gems to add to my collection, and they are like never more than $2! Plus I really enjoy physically owning the movies I love.
