I collect vinyls but recently I saw someone use a cd converting thing and use her cds to download music onto her IPOD, and idk the 90's early 2000's vibe of downloading your own music onto an IPOD/MP3 is so GREAT!
i had hopped on the vinyl bandwagon when they had their renaissance in the 2010s but iโve converted since you can still find good CDs at the thrift for a dollar or two a pop and they take up way less space on the shelf. also still car compatible if u have an older one!
no hate to vinyls though, i just have a rlly small room where it can't fit a vinyl player (๏ผโฒโ`) i was huge on buying albums (kpop groups, bands, or other artists i generally liked) so i have a large catalogue of cd albums laying around our storage (can't play back then since our only cd/dvd player broke) BUT i've been listening to 'em nonstop when i got my first car (which has a cd player since it's an older model) and there is just something magical about popping in a cd for some reason...
I am a CD kid. I was raised that way and I love flipping through a book of CDS. My car is from 2014 and it reignited my love of CDs. I do collect vinyls too but I donโt use them as much as I use CDs though.
