Don't get me wrong. They can be practical and I'm sure at some point I'll have to use one in some other context that isn't buying groceries. But I'm tired of people who treat it like it's a statement piece in fashion. They ruin their outfits with it and they try (and fail) to manipulate me into thinking I need it. It's very ugly. I'm so sorry to the people who use it genuinely thinking it looks good with their outfit. 😭 Every time a person is trying stuff on in a video and they finish it with "of course my iconic tote bag couldn't be left out" or something like that, a fairy dies.

• bra straps never stay up • shirts with straps are constantly falling • wide neckline means the top is now off the shoulder • the only hand bag that stays on correctly are cross body bags • tote bags are a nightmare • sometimes backpacks straps are too wide and you have to hunch over to keep the straps on I’m wishing I had just a little more shoulder so I could casually show off my tote bag collection without being inconvenienced.

i know totes are the bag, i get it. but it's not practical for those of us with the shoulders of a limp snake to have a bag that is marred by gravity's vindictive lack of remorse.

these bags are made out of recycled truck tarps and other reused durable materials. they’re pretty much all one-of-a-kind and very cool, i was debating gatekeeping them haha but i will share! i just think they make a very sexy bag and although they’re expensive i find that it’s easy to source affordable ones online secondhand. because i am practicing non attachment and an abundance mindset i am linking the one i’ve had my eye on but don’t need bc i have so much of this color in my wardrobe, as well as like 30 tote bags. bless you godspeed
