beingĀ in my 20s and already having grey hairs was something that, funnily enough,Ā iĀ accepted with far better grace than everyone else around me. loadsĀ of people who catch a glimpse of them ask me ifĀ iĀ want them to pluck them out andĀ tell meĀ that i should dye my hair,Ā but whether it's genetic or just stress (probably the latter)— i’m quite fond of my grey hairs!Ā soĀ they shall stay on my head no matter what <3Ā

i think this is a nice sentiment. i started going grey at 12 and ive been dying it back to my natural colour since then. perhaps i will start to let it be

i started going grey before my twenties and used to lament over whether i should dye it or not. ultimately i chose not to because as someone who likes having long hair its expensive and i simply am too lazy to keep that up. im like 27 now and i can't wait for my whole head to be grey/white. right now it looks like ive put little slivers of tinsel in my hair and it's such a vibe. i love it.

You are 100% correct! My grey hairs used to stress me out so much, but I realize now it’s only because people were constantly offering to take them out for me, or just reaching up and doing it anyways - I’ve got a lot more now at 24 then when people started noticing them at 18, but Iā€˜m much happier about having them

Agree and adore this. Always feel so weird when people start going crazy about their age as if they weren’t aware it was happening.

Women in my family go grey young—and a lot of them resisted it with dyes and scarves—but I’m choosing to embrace my greys. I believe it’s a blessing to be a woman who gets to get older. It’s affirming to find my grey hair growing in exactly the same pattern as my motherā€˜s. Everything I am came from her and I won’t hide that fact.
