I’ve been listening to this album on repeat since it came out. There’s this lyric on it, “I feel nothing, just the chlorine blue” that feels like the thesis of the album. It’s the feeling of driving home after going swimming. My friend described it as being in a rip curl. It’s all so peaceful and enveloping. The palette it explores is so delicate and pretty, very digital but still human, like nothing I’ve heard before. And it backs it all up with just really beautifully written pop songs. There are real ear worms here. So put this on after a dip in some water and let it envelop you.
