i was in a different college today for rehearsal (st catherine’s) which is like a bleak construction site at the moment because a lot of it was built in the 60s with that concrete that was found to be unsafe. i spent 10 minutes walking around the maze of hedges and scaffolding to find the rehearsal space, only to be greeted with a set of hedges with faces embedded in them. seeing them from afar was genuinely terrifying. apparently one of them is a bust of a young girl who died here. what a haunting memorial.

nothing freaks me out more than when they take off the scaffolding in an area i’ve only seen with it up.

Haven’t been to one in years but I think I’m gonna try it out this year. The right type of spooky for me. I remember going through one when I was a teenager and there was a random toilet just chillin in one of the dead ends. Real talk the scariest thing about that thing.

i saw this milk outside someone’s house and it really made me think how you never see traditional milk bottles anymore. i didn’t know milkmen were still a thing, even. i thought about how easy it would be to take some of the milk. i didn’t take any of the milk.

i see really cool/ funny/ smart people and 90% of the time they just follow me back straight away. it’s one of the joys of not having a big following — you can make more friends with strangers! i think the art of that is lost with influencer culture, because why would you follow a ‘fan’ back straight away (particularly when you have 50k plus of them?) also i’m a ‘rising user’ after posting like 6 times which gives me a huge ego boost. Small App is IN 🙌🙌
