But! I do use night shift on my phone from sunset to sunrise, I use f.lux on my computer, and all of the lamps in my home are amber/orange toned and dim. Blue light does unsettle me but I would rather control my environment with a few little tweaks than filter everything I see
I used to use f.lux which is very customizable but blue light blocking is a built-in feature of every operating system I use now and Iām happy with that⦠technological innovation is amazing
I really hate bright lights. In my studio and my bedroom I have colored bulbs which help me work and relax. Iāve found my perfect trilogy is orange, pink and purple. I like one of each color in different areas of the room, the combination is nice. Iām super ADHD and find it hard to work or focus if itās too bright, so I buy the lowest wattage available or just dim it almost all the way down. My bandmates hate it because they say they canāt see their fingers on the fretboard when weāre trying to work on music, but itās really the only way I can work.
My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebodyābe it a relative or one of my best friendsāwas to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too š
