A beautiful and useful oil paint color!
Sap Green is much like the green of sunlit leaves before an incoming storm.
It's a warm transparent green, which lends itself to layering (glazes and otherwise), giving pieces a really nice and unexpected ~moody~ depth.
(It's also WARM! Can't overstate this. No more endlessly toning down phthalo!)

The formulas vary from Gamblin to Windsor and Newton!
AND both formulas use more than one pigment π
Usually that would turn me off of a color but in this case it just doesn't, Sap Green really is just that good no matter how it's made. Having a green you don't have to mix perfectly, that wonderfully layers and transforms other colors is just too good!
