an art that us americans do not appreciate enough. I don't quite mean the Japanese way, where we sit down and have a ceremony, but once I brought tea to a class. My friend said it smelled good and I said I KNOW!!! (it's my favorite tea ever) and so he tried some, and liked it. So obviously I brought him a bag of the tea next class. We are going to hang out and drink tea together soon.
One of my best friends, who I originally met online and then irl, is my worst tea enabler!! She makes tea blends and also sells things like gai wans, so now I have a teaware collection, too many teas, and weβre still always recommending new ones to each other. It truly is a love language.
made cherry blossom green tea for some friends the other day. im not a super big tea drinker but ik a lot of my friends really love it so I got a box and made some to share. was really fun! make tea for ur friends!
everyone who knows me knows i love tea and has bought me tea at some point. my penpals always add a teabag to my letters too so i got to try teas from all over the world! i look at the tags and remember people and moments and i feel so loved <3
Sober people need a treat, too. Make it a ceremony and use the Gongfu Cha method with Gyokuro or a nice Oolong and drink out of vintage thrift store tea cups. You'll laugh in the face of any friend who comes over and asks for a piddly little beer.
i smoked last night and i woke up with the memory of my dream. I was cross country skiing. There was a tall icicle that I looked through to see the sunset. The sun refracted rainbow through the icicle, and the sunset was pink and purple and yellow. I loved the way that the sun shone through the trees all pink and white.
