This movie is beautiful and funny from the beginning to the very end. One, if not the, best coming of age movie!
And the opening song is perfect for the opening scene it really made me feel in the snow.
Just a lovely experience.
The holdovers (2023) absolutely embodies everything a good film should. From the simple and beautiful cinematography to the remarkably fitting soundtrack, the story is served on a silver platter that is reminiscent of a time gone by. This film will make you think “I guess the really do make movies like that still” The performances from our leads and subsequent performers are impeccable and touching. Oh and the writing, so human and real, it touches on the very core of us as people and our needs and wants and desires.
this movie fucked me up oh my god it is such a compelling story, amazing soundtrack and makes cry every time the way in which loss is navigated throughout the film is just beautifully done

The new BCNR album is insane!! my fave tracks so far would be, two horses, nancy tries to take the night or goodbye (don’t tell me) I have also been loving Forever is a Feeling by Lucy Dacus, all of the songs are great, especially Modigliani, Bullseye and Lost Time
