This movie is beautiful and funny from the beginning to the very end. One, if not the, best coming of age movie!
And the opening song is perfect for the opening scene it really made me feel in the snow.

The holdovers (2023) absolutely embodies everything a good film should. From the simple and beautiful cinematography to the remarkably fitting soundtrack, the story is served on a silver platter that is reminiscent of a time gone by. This film will make you think βI guess the really do make movies like that stillβ The performances from our leads and subsequent performers are impeccable and touching. Oh and the writing, so human and real, it touches on the very core of us as people and our needs and wants and desires.
It's romantic in the right amount and positive. It just makes me believe in love. This photo reminds me of this song.
