Someone Who Isn't Me by Geoff Rickly — another fiction-but-not from the lead singer of Thursday as he struggles with drug addiction. The book takes place mostly in his mind as he goes on a healing/therapeutic rip with psychedelics.
Burnout by Dr. Emily Nagoski — nonfiction, but really helped me sort out some of my relationship to stress in society
Who is Wellness For by Fariha Róisín — talk about emotional self-reflection...another non-fiction, but a GREAT way to reflect if you're ready for some heavy and light

I've always gone in and out of workout routines. Spurred on by an unpleasant conversation with a doctor, I've been back on my boxing bullshit. Except this time around, I've been focusing on feeling and "exploration of my strength" more than the calories burned or how heavy the dumbbell was. And now, for the first time in my life, I can reliably touch my toes. I am 31 years old, and I can only just now do it without grimacing.
STRETCH, people. It feels so good.
