this isn't something that I can (or want to) do because my clothing needs are unusually sized, but it would be a great way get some new attire and meet new folks — I know people that do this and they really dig it
get some friends together and plan a clothing swap! I find I am more likely to get rid of my unique pieces that I’ve been hanging on to when I think a friend might like them. I’ve also found some of my favorite items this way! Or just ask friends to go through your pile and donate the rest. Or give them no choice in the matter. I had a friend complement a sweater, and I was like cool it’s your’s now.
Keeping fashion circular and sustainable can be sentimental! You like my new shirt? Thank you my friend gave it to me :) Comfort in knowing your friend will cherish this new article because it once belonged to someone they care about.
