One of my favorite memories of being 19 was watching a corpse lily in Texas bloom every morning before class for a few days - I don’t know why but it felt so special

CRoCUS BLOoM at Brooklyn botanic

guys this is happening now and lasts about a week. it’s so stunning and beautiful. meadows of little purple flowers no taller than grass. little bees coming out of their slumber to get that nectar. also saffron comes from a crocus! crazy! life is so beautiful.
