i was watching the simpsons ep summer of four ft 2 and it was such a perfect song for the end credits 🫶🏻 and now it is the theme song of my summer ☀️ i love the nostalgia summer accumulates as it goes on. i love the undercurrent of melancholy that ripples through so many beach boys songs 😎

spring / summer mornings

a little chilly, moisture in the air, sun peeking out. always reminds me of going to swim practice or my summer babysitting job or being on vacation with my family and going to see some old historic site. so magical and makes me remember why i love the northeast and nyc🩷⭐️
