So recently I made the switch from Spotify to Apple Music because I heard music for real for the first time with Apple Music like the audio quality is NUTS!!
The only thing thatās been kinda hard is navigating the algorithm and finding it hard to find new music which in a way is a good thing because shouldnāt I be researching new music for realā¦ like my favs used to crate dig for real!!!
Anywho I found this app called NTS radio which I know Clairo used to be on for real and some of the songs she played were sampled in Charm!!
NTS radio is a dope space where you can hear different DJs from around the world and their set lists and itās been where I have been getting so much new musicā¦ I imagine this what crate digging used to feel likeā¦ tune into NTS radio!

I don't touch spotify as much these days, their discovery algo just isn't great.
NTS radio is playing in my apt basically all day ā go download the app, tune in live to one of their 2 stations or browse their archive of shows, exceptionally well curated sets from tastemakers and djs from all over.

!!! i am so sick of spotify rn. i donāt know if iāll ever leave spotify - but i feel like, itās almost impossible for me to discover new music. i could create a classical flute playlist and spotify is like ālets add charli xcx nextā - NTS radio has two djs spinning at all times. almost always itās a hit very seldom is it a miss. sometimes iām like yeahhh i donāt know if german hardcore rock at 9pm on a tuesday is a move. but itās where ive found a lot of my recent music. i love this movement of getting away from AI suggestions and allowing humans to choose for me what to listen to

I truly believe itās the anthropological and sociological study of human behaviorā¦ I would go as far as saying that it is the perfect literary analysis in our quest in understanding tragedies. Dare I say, the perfect piece of commentary on the concept of surveillance in modern day?
Itās also extremely messy boots! My Peacock subscription is my home base for all things reality tv from everything Bravo to Traitors (all countries!!) to Love Island US (which from season 3 onward is pretty great reality tv)
If you are a reality tv headā¦ I cannot recommend enough getting that Peacock subscription and getting the TEA. Low price for that huge of libraryā¦ whatās not to love?
