I’ll start by replying to my own ask.
I hate sock heels! They only look good if the heels are the same color as the sock— (at that point just buy heeled boots)
And with brooches!! They take away from pieces and just look out of place. And if you need a brooch to make your piece eye-catching, then it wasn’t interesting enough to begin with!!
agree with sock heels but hard disagree on brooches. brooches are like condiments or garnishes on a dish, they add a little pizzazz to a fit! also they are extremely versatile, little brooches can cover ugly buttons, mid sized brooches can be worn as pendants on necklaces!
okay … first of all. what the fuck do you mean you’re leaving the house with black socks on? unless you are at a wedding or funeral at which you are wearing black dress pants (or if you’re corporate), please keep away from me. they also always look like they smell so bad. please take them off and make better choices in life. (i’m okay with fun colored socks to compliment a nice outfit like a light blue or pretty pink but if it’s got some crazy design on it yeah it’s gonna be a problem..).
i dress socks first, i love a little matching moment, or a statement sock in an otherwise monochrome fit. i also love long walks, feats of athleticism, and wearing boots. these socks are beautiful, comfy, cushioned, and stay where you want them all day long. they don’t roll under your toes, and they come in two sizes!
