Rhythm heaven on the ds
I played this when it came out and it made me love music. Everything about it is perfect. Holding the DS sideways is genius. They use the touchscreen so creatively, you don’t just tap to the beat but swipe and flick and lift the stylus. The music is so catchy. You also gotta love a rhythm game that isn’t just tap the right button when the box touches the line.

late to this post but i can’t agree more, this game is peak. i’m actually so sad there hasn’t been a new installment since the wii 😭😭😭

darice Well there was Megamix on the 3DS but 75% of its games were from the previous three game and honestly was kinda a fall off for the series. Pity!

i love this game!!! highly recommend Rhythm Tengoku for gameboy as well, I played it using an emulator and it was an amazing introduction to the series

Rhythm heaven for the ds
a lot of ppl will say rhythm heaven fever for the wii is superior but it blew my mind as a kid that you had to turn the ds sideways. endlessly replayable. great songs. i hold an unofficial speedrun record for it.

Katamari Damacy (ps2)
So much fun and simple as hell to play. I love the chaos of it and the soundtrack go crazy. I always find myself randomly humming the songs throughout the day. Idk why they had to go so hard on the music. Wasnt playing in the stu.
