I have two reoccurring dreams, both where I'm trapped in unless "rooms". In one of them I'm trapped in a white void filled with invisible objects that no matter how much I try, I cannot crush. I have woken up sick to my stomach a multitude of times from this. I remember oe specific instance was whenever I was having fever dreams in the back of my mom's car and was going in and out of consciousness, repeatedly having this dream over and over. It got to the point where I would repeatedly wake up screaming and sweating and ended up hurling in my mom's backseat. My second dream is a room that consists of a neverending wall of moving gears. I cannot move and can only listen and watch the gears operate. I've woken up in a cold sweat every time I've had this dream. I have no clue what that says about my psyche, but I'm choosing the path of "ignorance is bliss".

I always seem to dream of dark paths and or rooms. Often times they turn into nightmares that wake me up fairly violently. There is often someone or something just out of my sight that throughout my dream that I can't get away from. I think my most recent was I was in a dark room, there was something in the corner, there were no doors or windows, the room was on fire but it was like if you were looking at the light emitted from flames from a different rooms. Typing this out makes me realize how much more of nightmares they are than dreams, but sometimes they don't end so bad, kinda unresolved and fades into a nothingness.

i remember every now and then i’d dream i was inside this large, vast building with a gorgeous entryway and foyer area with tall ceilings at night… the door’s entrance was lined on either side with a large statue of a buddha head and the interior of the building with red velvet curtain… there were two giant staircases on either side that curved inward who’d greet you as you stepped foot through the doors… this seemed like a very cool liminal space except i was being chased by a masked man all around… as big as the space was i felt contained and constantly threatened by his presence!!! feels like i was living in one of the large lethal company buildings if it was in la and owned by a gaudy millionaire before it was even conceptualized

I had this as a child and teenager many times and haven’t had this as an adult but: in the dream I am hurdling through space and towards an object that it huge and ever expanding, but it’s getting tiny and tiny as well and I don’t know if it’s bigger than me, or I bigger than it The object is steamy and hot to the touch and yet my body is frigid cold the object is familiar yet alien all at once - it encompasses everything and nothing I call this the “infinity dream”

I used to spend every night sitting outside looking up into the night sky trying to find constellations. I used to be so obsessed that I got my Mom to take me to a viewing conservatory with a giant telescope every week so I could see Mars in 4K. When that wasn't enough my mom got me a million and one books on constellations, moons and stars, and how to identify them along with a shiny new high tech telescope. I haven't used a lot of that stuff in years after we moved unfortunately. I learned very quickly that light pollution is a big issue once you move away from the trailer parks and into the suburbs, and any chance at seeing stars is squashed under someone's giganormous TV shining brighter than a Ford F150's headlights. Straight up archangel Michael coming to take me away during the rapture kind of brightness that these people are using. However I am nothing if not stubborn! I will find a way to use that big ol' telescope I have and I swear I'm gonna find every constellation, star and planet that passes overhead if it's the last thing I do!

Sometimes just looking up and taking in your surroundings makes you feel so real and human. Something about seeing what your fellow man has created is really inspiring and gives you a cheery buzz of life.
