wanted a sweet treat and found a pudding recipe with ingredients I have so I went to work. after 5 minutes of whisking and wondering when it would thicken it went from liquid to pudding within seconds so I think there may have been some divine intervention there. overall excellent use of free will ingredients: - 1/2 cup sugar - 1/3 cup cocoa powder - 3 Tbsp cornstarch - 2 cups milk (it said half and half but it said any milk works, half and half is just richer) - 1tsp vanilla extract instructions: 1. add sugar, cocoa powder, and cornstarch to a small pot and stir to combine 2. add milk and vanilla extract to the pot, turn on medium heat, and whisk until it begins to simmer and thickens to a pudding consistency 3. remove from heat and serve warm or refrigerate until cool and serve the only thing I wish I'd done is added some salt while it was cooking (i added it after and it turned out fine!!) and used half and half but still very good for if you're in a pinch and just want something sweet :))

a craving hit but all i had was hot cocoa mix and heavy whipping cream… gradually whisked some of the cream into the powder and it made a moussey, puddingy, delicious chocolate treat. i made it the next day again. bet it would slap frozen. sometimes i eat chocolate syrup on a spoon

ingredients: * an amount of oat milk (how much do you want?) * some cream/half & half, but less than the first milk (for t h i c k) * a few big spoonfuls of dutch-processed cocoa powder (best) * honey heat milks on the stove until near to boiling and then add cocoa and squeeze honey into the pot for about 3 mississippis, ending with whatever flourish feels right. stir until combined and enjoy! it is rich. it is unexpected, nuanced, and superior.

I was bullied a lot for my eye color as a kid (because me having very dark brown hair and very dark brown eyes made me look "evil", apparently) and, naturally, began to dislike them. but as I've gotten out of school and away from people who put me down, I've realized how insane it is to bully someone over their eye and hair color and grown to love the color of my eyes. I mean, they may be dark but there's nothing wrong with that. and I can take pretty pictures of my eyes too, I just have to blind myself and almost stare into the sun to do so lol

recently, when I wake up in the morning and have time to kill, I've been spending a bit of time reading before or after I get myself ready to go about the day instead of sitting on my phone when I first wake up. I feel like it helps clear my mind for the day and it feels nice to not immediately scroll when I wake up like I used to

"yap" about the things that interest you all you want; enjoy your hobbies and pour your heart into them, stop worrying about if what you're into is "cringe"; if your friends don't like your hobbies/interests and put you down for enjoying them, find people that will; surround yourself with people you love who love you back and you will be so much happier than the people that are so quick to put others down for pursuing their happiness
