tiff Itโs about $180 for a changing bag and developing tank kit with some chemicals for B&W. Paterson Photographic Patterson & Ilford Film Processing Kit
Color film requires some reusable plastic bottles, and a sous vide cooker to keep the chemicals at the correct temperature. I followed some guides on YouTube and cross referenced them with instructions from chemistry manufacturers to make sure the YouTubers were doing things correctly.
i found a perfectly functional nikon n60 for 35 bucks at a thrift store, and i impulsively spent an extra forty five bucks getting film and then getting the film developed later on. holy fuck i like this lifestyle. i think everyone should take shitty pictures with film cameras because itโs very much worth the fortune you spend.
i learned that there was a photo lab nearish to my apartment and never looked back. open for 30+ years and very friendly
24hrs and $13, ainโt too shabby right? most spots seem to be $20+ for develop & scan which is a lil nuts
scans can be a bit cool & saturated but u can fix that pretty easily
expensive nonsense but connects you to the photos more. breathes life into them. something to make images seem less disposable in an era of taking a picture of anything and everything
