Maybe trends popping up from decades past (like the y2k resurgence right now) aren‘t for the preteens and young girls it’s actually for the women that grew up in that era and are finally comfortable enough in their own skin to feel good wearing what they always felt awkward in as a girl and now they feel flirty and hot
All these trends saying 2014/15 indie sleeze and tumblr aesthetic is back and I feel like I’m going insane because they mean 2010/11 right?? either way, I’m here for the 2011 revival. I bought stripey tights the other day, I wore a messy quiff to a party. Pic of me in 2011 below.
It’s more 2015 vibes and I’m not sure that it’s here to stay. However, I think we should take the “I don’t care how cringe I am” mental back with us to 2025. Especially with rising popularity of the conservative mindset.
