I used to live nearby. Some of the best food, music and service I’ve experienced. Super friendly staff. Very cozy, charming interiors. It’s right in the middle of a park so plenty of greenery around. People jogging, dogs walking, children in the playground, summer picnic hangs. Lovely atmosphere.
Lulu's in Herne hill <3 immaculate atmosphere and the best logo i've ever seen. Plus right next to Brockwell park if you wanted to take some food to picnic !
Went for their tea service unsure if it was legit or just fodder for instagram and it did not disappoint! From the crazy viral bathroom to the all girl string quartet to the dining room that feels like you’re in a museum, we had a great time. And the food was very good and you get a lot (plus they’ll let you reorder anything you want more of). Still thinking about their curry chicken salad.
great drinks, the staff are so so nice and there's usually an exhibition on downstairs. also it's in quite a pedestrianised area which is rare for london! so you can sit out the front like you do in continental europe
Where are they now? I hope they’re doing ok, collecting memories and loading up a bank of recs they can share when they return to this app. I miss them so much.
