not to sound like an asshole but italian pasta sometimes falls into the "i can make this just as good if not better at home" category
however i very very rarely want to make lasagna at home, which makes it the perfect order
if you ever find yourself in San Francisco you gotta go to Marcellas, the lasagna is absolutely nuts there. not normally a lasagna guy but this one is special, enough for me to tell people about it
Whether it’s actually from scratch (like roasting tomatoes in the oven scratch) or starting w a canned tomato base, making ur own sauce makes me feel like my regular degular pasta dish is elite and I am a Michelin star chef, and who doesn’t love to feel like a star?!
(don’t even get me started on pasta al limone - literally so simple, you feel like a true Italian, and ur audience is wowed)
tomorrow PI.FYI launches to the public this project is the result of thousands of hours spent coding everything from scratch after I got laid off six months ago no thiel-bucks or weirdo outsider money, just a pure desire to make something fun and true to Perfectly Imperfect’s day one goal of helping people find new things from real human beings, not algorithms or AI a pure labor of love that I’ve been quietly plotting for two years and it’s completely self-funded from my (rapidly) dwindling savings account so thank you for coming along for this weird ride 🫶 let's see where it goes
