whenever i feel depressed or upset i put on music i grew up with and do hip openers + leg stretches!! literally wanted a car to run over me before doing it but after the session i’m a reborn person (sort of)
preferably before bed bc it helps me sleep sooooo much better and is a physical emotional release to end my day ★ back (seal stretch, downward dog, cat/cow)
★ shoulders (praying hands behind back, arm circles and whatever other movements i can think of)
★ hips (open/close gate, pigeon pose, butterfly, happy baby) even better if…

Stretching really relaxes my mind. stretching + music is the always amazing. Sometimes dancing too 🤷🏽. If no one is watching, stretch and dance however you want! Its very freeing and its good exercise.
I used to think it was a waste of time... I was a fool!!! I carry all of my emotions in my hips. A good stretch (or foam roll) is unbelievably cathartic.
rengginang (indonesian purple rice cracker) is a snack / carb game changer!!! as someone who looooves crunch it gives the best satisfaction when u sink ur teeth into this savory piece of gluten-free goodness. it’s also super cheap like $3 for >20 pieces at ur local indonesian grocery store??? i guess im saying goodbye to potato chips (for a forseeable while)
