tiff I think Sebastian is my number 1 but also I had a lifelong fixation on Salome so John the baptist is up there for me and, unrelated, but so is St. Eulalia. I think I’m most likely to be visited by one of those. Who is yours?

soft i‘ve always been partial to st anthony of padua cause he’s helped me find a lot of things but st rita of cascia is definitely up there, tbh i think any saint who was stigmatic is quite cool and st martin de porres

tiff you should not have done that 🙅🏻‍♀️ she was also 13 years old. There are 13 geese in Barcelona cathedral for each of her martyrdoms. I never ask her for anything because I feel like she deserves peace lol but I definitely think about her a lot.

tiff OMG my grandfather’s saint is St Anthony!!! in college i had a little figurine of him i kept by the front door and one day i realized he was missing. coincidentally his ”spot” was on a windowsill above our recycling bin, and one of our roommates liked to pull the blinds all the way up - she must have knocked him in one day. we lost (recycled) the patron saint of lost things 😭😭

marxinista losing/recycling the patron saints of lost things, what are the odds 😭😭 a saint figurine sounds awesome though. i only went to catholic school but my parents are evangelical so i never got any of the cool swag.

as in - - - what is a rosary? why do we say the hail mary? who is this lad jesus? sincere studiment of the religion one grew up bombarded with can be elucidating or it can be like mate its all phenomological anyway i dont gaf abt this aquinas guy .

giving tasks to men
Any man, any task. I’m sure there are other ways to strengthen your relationships with men but this is the easiest I’ve found and my method also gets a task done. Ask your dad to build shelves, ask some guy on your street to mow your lawn, ask your friend to collect a parcel for you, ask your brother to hang a picture frame. So many tasks get done and so many men feel needed and appreciated. Could offer them a beer to make it transactional but it’s almost never necessary.
