tiff I think Sebastian is my number 1 but also I had a lifelong fixation on Salome so John the baptist is up there for me and, unrelated, but so is St. Eulalia. I think I’m most likely to be visited by one of those. Who is yours?

soft i‘ve always been partial to st anthony of padua cause he’s helped me find a lot of things but st rita of cascia is definitely up there, tbh i think any saint who was stigmatic is quite cool and st martin de porres

tiff you should not have done that 🙅🏻‍♀️ she was also 13 years old. There are 13 geese in Barcelona cathedral for each of her martyrdoms. I never ask her for anything because I feel like she deserves peace lol but I definitely think about her a lot.

tiff OMG my grandfather’s saint is St Anthony!!! in college i had a little figurine of him i kept by the front door and one day i realized he was missing. coincidentally his ”spot” was on a windowsill above our recycling bin, and one of our roommates liked to pull the blinds all the way up - she must have knocked him in one day. we lost (recycled) the patron saint of lost things 😭😭

Learning a cool prayer
Let me preface that I am not religious and I am not trying to promote the catholic church - respect to the oppressed peoples in Ireland and the Philippines etc. who do rock with catholicism, but I’m not here to defend it. That said, it is neat to recite a cool prayer you learned in catholic school - it hearkens to a time when people would just memorize poetry for fun. Here’s one that I used to recite whenever I was afraid: St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May god rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. Bars.

giving tasks to men
Any man, any task. I’m sure there are other ways to strengthen your relationships with men but this is the easiest I’ve found and my method also gets a task done. Ask your dad to build shelves, ask some guy on your street to mow your lawn, ask your friend to collect a parcel for you, ask your brother to hang a picture frame. So many tasks get done and so many men feel needed and appreciated. Could offer them a beer to make it transactional but it’s almost never necessary.
