Honoré Daumier was a badass realist and his moody paintings seem to be not so known as his caricature work — this canvas is only about 4x6in but it arrested me completely! @ the Barnes Foundation in PHL

didn’t want to add him to that favorite artists posts because he Is Not. but this is def a top 20 painting for me and changed my life.
i tend to save my good underwear for special days and parties and first dates. i also tend to save my stickers and expensive perfume and contact lenses for the same reason. but regular days deserve to feel good too
