u guys need to tap into this. it's like 50 pence for 6 pieces. i got some for 29p the other day i said thanks to the universe. also minimally processed, most of the time. and the earthy taste simply goes great with everything. now listen is it a bread and a butter? no it is pitta and hummus. i put my chilli in my pitta, i rip it to dip it with my shakshuka and now this is just the beginning. i am venturing on a pitta journey dissimilar to any path trodden by the typical breader. oh and remember to get whole meal pitta, the one with like five ingredients.
This is a stall in Ridley Road Market in Dalston, they make the fluffiest flatbread in front of you, then smear it with this mystery meat spicy paste, put it through their giant revolving oven, roll it up for you, and then you eat it. Some things almost scare me in how they can supersede the sum of their parts and blow my socks right off with only 2 components. This is one of those things. There's a vegetarian version as well but I haven’t tried it, I’m sure it’s fine.
they cost less than £1.50, are significantly more dense than a standard toast bread, and the don’t contain so much as much sugar polish diaspora is really saving my life in here
seriously, what a beautiful thing. i just emerged from one, oh a warm fountain of clean water. it's a real luxury. and a nice oil or lotion and a facial moisturiser. clean pyjamas. what a rejuvenating and lovely thing.
people often spend too much money on things they can make with patience, for example any single panel of wood used for any need like a shelf. u can pick up a peice of wood from loads of places and just varnish it/paint it however u want. dont fall for predatory consumerism !!!1 but carpentery
